Group Piano Classes for the Adult Hobbyist

This method is specifically designed for those who:
• Have always longed to play the piano
• Wish they had stuck with those childhood lessons
• Once played years ago and desire to play again
• Are looking for a fun, relaxing, and creative hobby.

With materials created especially for adult groups, you will learn how to:  play by chords; read notes (yes, you can!); play music in a variety of styles using music you’ve always wanted to learn how to play (no kiddie tunes!); and, at times play as part of a duo or larger ensemble.   Optional play-along CDs make it even more fun!  Group lessons offer a learning atmosphere that is  stress-free, supportive, and social.  Solo playing is always voluntary.
Recreational Music Making, as this method is called, is a national movement which is rapidly gaining momentum and support.  Why?  Because it really works, and, there are surprising advantages to learning music in a group setting!

Groups are forming now!  Sessions are in 8-week segments (one hour per week).  Dates and times are arranged based on participants’ availability.  Class size limited!

Artistic Piano is the place to be if you or your child need private piano lessons. We are proud to offer the greatest assembly of piano teachers under one roof in all of Southern Oregon/Northern California. Four teachers are available, each with distinguished credentials in the fields of piano performance and piano instruction. Our lesson studios are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with modern, well tuned and maintained pianos giving both teacher and student the perfect learning environment. Parents, you will be happy to know that we are centrally located in the Barnes & Noble Plaza, allowing you time to have coffee at Starbucks and browse Barnes & Noble while your child is in their lesson. Plenty of parking and many other businesses, including restaurants and salons are also within short walking distance.
